I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and hold a Masters Degree in Public Health from UC Berkeley. I've maintained a full time private practice in NW Portland, Oregon for over 20 years. In that time, I've supported thousands of clients in successfully addressing a vast array of issues, using the tools of Hypnotherapy, NLP and energy work to support my clients in reaching their goals. I hold professional certification with the ACHE (American Board of Hypnotist Examiners, Glendale, CA), the NGH (National Guild of Hypnotists), and the Canadian Board of Hypnotherapy.

I am also a certified Reiki Master and a practitioner of Sacred Energy Work. My areas of advanced study in the field of hypnotherapy include Ericksonian Hypnosis, NLP, Past Life Regression, Resolving Habitual Behaviors, Medical Support Hypnotherapy, Weight Mastery, Smoking Cessation, Emotional Well Being, Stress Release and Energy Clearing, and Alchemical Hypnotherapy.

I've been fortunate to train with some of the leading innovators in the field of hypnotherapy,  including Gil Boyne, Tim Simmerman, Robert Sapien, Stephen Gilligan, David Quigley, and John Butler. I beleive that ongoing training is essential for all practitioners of this work.  I was an instructor for PCC's Community Education Program for several years, offering group hypnotherapy classes for weight loss and stress reduction. I've been a returning guest speaker at the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts,as well as a presenter at OHSU School of Nursing and Beaverton Public Schools.

Before I discovered the work of hypnotherapy, I worked as the director of a WIC nutrition program in southern Oregon, and later worked as a nutrition educator at OSHU and in private practice with a focus on weight loss concerns.

My practice is client centered and spiritually minded with a focus on interactive processes that empower my clients as we work towards their goals. It is my heart felt desire to introduce my clients to the richness of their deeper mind - that is wise, resourceful, creative and almost magical in its ability to enliven our goals, dreams and passion for life.

Office of Lexi Parrott

In my free time, I love traveling and visiting historic sites. My first profound experience of hypnosis occurred while on a group trip to Egypt years ago. I am fascinated by the healing traditions of various cultures, especially shamanic practices and herbal medicine. I enjoy gardening and collecting books. I am always looking for the next best cup of coffee.
